Quite easy to use especially with oil goid value for money

For my first birth, I didn’t do anything extra to prepare… Life was so busy and I thought I could just wing it. This time around for my second birth I want to be prepared and I’m so glad that I bought this massager.
It’s a great tool for perineal massage. I really like that it comes with the oil for easy insertion. I haven’t given birth yet, but I am hopeful the tear would be of lesser degree.

My husband and I first tried doing the perineal massage with our hands but found it tricky to get the right pressure and position. It was also difficult to do myself and my husband works away from home regularly. That’s when we decided to give perimom a try and it is a game changer! So quick and easy to do and has become part of my daily routine. It’s very easy to use and also to clean/ store. The massage oil it comes with is really nice as well! Highly recommend
I am very happy with it, i think is much easier to do it with the device than with the Hands because you Cover a bigger area, no need to worry about your nails hurtig you, and feel more confident about doing it correctelly.
I also ordered the Sweet almond oil, what i really prefered the smell and consistência over the one I was using before from Welleda.
I can just recommend it, make live much easier with a big belly on the way of things. ☺️
Very pleased with my purchase. My favorite items were the massager/oil, the underwear, the reuseable cool packs, and the peri bottle.
The massager let me do perineal massage independently, which was important to me. The tool was high quality and easy to use. I used it every 2-3 days from 36 weeks until my natural birth at 39+4. It was uncomfortable for the first two weeks, but then got better: I believe this is expected of perineal massage in general no matter how you do it. Although I did end up with some minor first degree tearing, I'm confident I did everything in my power to avoid it. (Plus, the tearing only occurred in the upper and side portions of my vag and labia... not the perineum proper... so I feel my massages did their job!)
The hospital did end up giving me versions of the underwear, bottle, and some disposable ice packs, but I loved having perimom's higher quality versions of these at home. The underwear were amazingly comfortable: stretchy (my regular underwear size is S/M), well-made, not at all itchy. I ended up wearing nothing but these underwear and a bra around the house for basically the first two weeks postpartum... they were just that comfortable!!!! The bottle was well designed, a pretty color, and allowed me to reach every region down there (compared to the free hospital squeeze bottle which did not have the little extendy stick). The reusable pads and their thoughtfully designed covers were also winners because they were flexible, unlike the straight-up ice packs given at the hospital which hurt to sit on.
Overall, this kit was amazing value for the price. It gave me everything I needed to feel prepared for postpartum recovery (with the exception of a witch hazel healing foam, which I bought elsewhere), at a fraction of the price of competitors. Every item was well made and high quality. Strongly recommend purchasing this kit!
Excellent tool to use from week 34 to prevent tearing
The product itself I find it practical, the material is very nice, great quality, I can reach the area easily and without any acrobatics. The only problem that I have is that I don’t really enjoy this type of massage. I will still try for a few days and see how it is.
I love my peri mom wand, is easy to use and it’s help me and my partner to prepare for what I hope is a smooth labor time to me our beautiful boy soon!

I am finding this product really helpful in the lead up to my birth! I find the tool easy to use and not at all painful. Using this has made me feel a lot more confident about going into labour.
It is a very handy device and very easy to use. I have already used it a couple of times since receiving it and plan on using it continuously. It does make ot easier if you use along with the oil that comes with it.
The perimom is super easy to use, makes massage a lot easier, especially as I couldn’t reach. It’s easy to clean and come with nice storage pouch.
I started using Perimom toward the end of 37 weeks of pregnancy as I ordered it quite late. Happy to say I did not tear.
Perimom is a much more “comfortable” solution to the good old perineal massage. It saves you from the uncomfortable position you’ve got to put yourself in to reach that spot or the awkwardness of asking your partner to do it for you.

I’m left handed and didn’t realise when I bought this it was shaped in a way that’s really for right handers - I find it very awkward to use and I didn’t see this mentioned anywhere on the website!
