About Perimom
We make one thing: a tool that lets women do perineal massage on their own, in the weeks when reaching becomes difficult.
Why it exists
After more than 35 years as a midwife and doula, I've heard so many women tell me the same thing: "I want to do perineal massage, but I just can't reach."
I knew how important it was for them to feel prepared for birth. But as their bellies grew, something that should have been simple became frustrating, uncomfortable, or meant asking someone else for help.
I wanted women to have the freedom to prepare for birth on their own terms, with confidence and comfort.
So I created Perimom. A tool designed around a pregnant woman's changing body, to make perineal massage something she can actually do herself.

What we make
Perimom is a perineal massage tool and nothing else. It is not a multi-purpose device with this listed as one of its uses. Every part of it, the curve, the handle, the oil channel, the tip, exists to solve one problem.
Alongside it we make an unscented almond oil formulated for the same purpose, and the Perimom Trainer, a free guided app that walks you through each session and keeps track of your weeks. The app is free to anyone.
How we work
Every device passes through someone’s hands. Every Perimom is checked under a lamp, then polished and cleaned by hand before it goes in the box.
Nothing leaves here unchecked.

Perimom is manufactured in an ISO 13485-certified medical device facility (certificate no. I29715), and every unit is individually hand-polished and inspected.

- United Kingdom — Class I medical device, MHRA registration no. 19968
- European Union — Class I medical device, CE-marked under EU MDR 2017/745
